Brooklyn born, Long Island raised, Theresa Allen, in addition to teaching, public speaking, authoring books, poetry, and historical journals, has also hosted a television show, "The Terri Allen Show", founded and serves as Dean Emeritus for the Long Island Christian Bible Institute, and serves as Vice President of Thelemaque Associates, a talent management company for African American classical musicians.
She is co-founder and serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit corporation, CAAPA - Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts, is Founder of Feed My Sheep Ministries, and conducts historical symposiums, How to Start a Christian Bible Institute in Your Church workshops, providing training for teachers. Terri has authored the following; Links, Linage, Legacy, and Love How To Start a Bible Institute in Your Church, two poetry collectives, Share My World and Pieces of a Dream, and co-authored Pearls of Wisdom from Three Generations with her mother and daughter. She and her husband are writing a on how they met entitled, Claim Your Mate Online.
Mrs. Allen pursued degrees at Stony Brook University, Pace Law School, and Bethel Bible College. As a single parent, Terri raised two children and three African children in her home. She currently lives with her husband, co-author, and business partner, Dale, in Fort Washington, Maryland.
