History

Authors, Inspirational Speakers, and Columnists, grandmother Celia Ford, daughter Theresa Allen, and granddaughter Pamela Simonson, were 75, 50, and 25 when they wrote their collection of family sayings and affirmations.

They decided to do something special on Celia's 75th birthday, but wanted it to be more meaningful than getting their nails done or going to the Olive Garden. So, they decided to write a poem.  They later entitled it...

"Strands of Thoughts"
The years have gone by,
Leaves fall from the trees.
The sun rises each day,
Bringing hope to our pleas.
Looking back on my life,
I thank God all the time.
For the joy he has brought,
Making life so sublime.
Celia

Miracles happen,
Each step of the way.
With a stride moving forward,
Not missing a day.
The past comes full circle,
Upon sad death and new birth.
Making life's joyous journey,
With each other on earth.
Theresa

Life starts here,
Though years have passed.
New beginnings, new experiences,
Exciting and vast.
The path to follow,
Comes with great anticipation.
Behind a legacy of two,
A new generation.
Pamela

Amazingly, Celia, Theresa, and Pamela had not discussed what they would write. After reading the strands of thought, they knew it was their purpose in life to do something more significant. This has since evolved into the
Pearls of Wisdom from Three Generations.

The Educators and native New Yorkers have also been featured on local cable television, radio, and in numerous newspapers.

Their best selling book,
Pearls of Wisdom From Three Generations, was selected as the Book-of-the-Month by Radio One's Magic 102.3 FM and was the first-ever Book-of-the-Month on Heaven 1580, Washington, DC. It has been listed on the Karibu Best Seller's List twice and Caravan Book Store Best Seller list.

Celia, Theresa, and Pamela also write an advice column for the Washington Informer called
Ask Pearls of Wisdom®, where they answer reader's
